Transparent Moments

Real Conversations. Real Growth. Real Grace.

Episode 1: Keep Going: Even When It Feels Like You’re Going Alone

Welcome

Welcome to Transparent Moments, a space where I’ll share the real stories behind entrepreneurship, personal growth, wellness, faith, and life’s unexpected lessons.

If you’ve ever questioned yourself, felt overlooked, struggled in silence, or simply wondered if you’re enough, this space is for you.

My hope is that these moments remind you that you are never walking alone.

The Story

Have you ever questioned whether you’re good enough?

I know I have.

Here’s my transparent moment…

I’m somewhat of a serial entrepreneur. I have multiple businesses, countless ideas, and dreams that keep me awake some nights because I’m so excited to bring them to life. Behind every product launch, every website update, every social media post, and every event are hours of work that most people never see.

If I’m honest, there are days when I don’t feel like I receive the support I work so hard for.

There are moments when I wonder if people notice the sacrifices. The late nights. The weekends spent working instead of resting. The financial risks. The emotional investment.

Some days, those thoughts are loud.

I’ve questioned whether I should keep going.

I’ve wondered if all the effort is worth it.

But every single time…

I choose to take one more step.

Not because I always feel motivated.

Not because success is guaranteed.

But because I believe purpose doesn’t disappear just because discouragement shows up.

So I keep pushing.

Successful or not…

I keep pushing.

The Lesson

Life has taught me something I wish more women understood.

We were never meant to carry everything by ourselves.

As women, we’re often the ones everyone depends on. We’re the encouragers, caregivers, leaders, business owners, mothers, daughters, wives, sisters, and friends.

We pour into everyone else until our own cup is nearly empty.

Then we convince ourselves that asking for help would make us a burden.

So we stay quiet.

We keep smiling.

We keep showing up.

Meanwhile, we’re silently carrying things that are becoming heavier every day.

Then one day, if we’re fortunate, we find our people.

Our safe place.

The friends who don’t expect perfection.

The community that allows us to say,

“I’m tired today.”

“I don’t have it all together.”

“I need someone to pray with me.”

“I need someone to simply listen.”

And something beautiful happens.

The burden doesn’t necessarily disappear.

But it becomes lighter because someone helped you carry it.

You realize you weren’t the only one struggling.

You realize vulnerability isn’t weakness.

It’s healing.

We’ve all heard people say, “Check on your strong friend.”

Please do.

But if you’re the strong friend…

Learn to answer honestly.

Strength isn’t pretending you’re okay every day.

Strength is trusting someone enough to tell them when you’re not.

Transparent Takeaways

  • Keep taking the next step, even when you can’t see the entire path.

  • Don’t measure your value by the amount of support you receive.

  • Find a community where you can be completely authentic.

  • Asking for help is an act of courage, not weakness.

  • Rest is productive when it restores your mind, body, and spirit.

  • Remember that everyone is fighting a battle you may know nothing about.

  • Give yourself the same grace you so freely give to everyone else.

Reflection

Have you ever found yourself carrying everything alone because you didn’t want to burden someone else?

What’s one thing you need to release today?

I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Your story might be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

This Week’s Affirmation

I am enough.

I don’t have to prove my worth by how much I accomplish or how much I carry.

I choose progress over perfection.

I give myself permission to rest, to receive help, and to continue moving forward one step at a time.

Everything God has placed inside of me still has purpose.

Until Next Time...

Thank you for spending a few moments with me today.

If this message encouraged you, share it with someone who may need the reminder that they don’t have to walk through life alone.

Remember…

Keep growing.

Keep healing.

Keep believing.

With love,

Scarlet
